Overview  

David Hagen is a Managing Director and Founder at Evans Hagen & Company.   Over the last 20 years Mr. Hagen has managed numerous engagements involving business valuations, litigation support, forensic accounting, business consulting, financial consulting, audit and tax services to clients across various industries and sizes.

Prior Experience

A veteran of Big Five accounting and former partner at Grant Thornton, Mr. Hagen has worked with many companies as both an advisor and senior executive, including AT&T, RCA, GE, GTE, Texas Industries, Sprint, and Bell Atlantic Network Services. He has also served as author and editor of many standard industry texts – such as Guide to Mergers and Acquisitions – issued by the Practitioners Publishing Company (PPC) as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Education/Affiliations

Mr. Hagen has previously served as an instructor for the AICPA in its continuing professional education program and currently sits on the boards of several local companies. Mr. Hagen earned a BA degree in Accounting from Michigan State University (MSU) and performed postgraduate work at both MSU and Eastern Michigan University.
