  • Working for The Brattle Group, an international econometrics firm, and attorneys for the Department of Justice, Southern District of New York, represented the Federal Communications Communication versus NextWave Wireless Inc., providing an expert report and financial and market advisory services.

 

  • In another matter for The Brattle Group, an international econometrics firm, and attorneys for the Department of Justice, Southern District of New York, represented the Federal Communications Communication versus General Wireless, Inc.: Provided Expert Report and financial and market advice for the FCC, working for the Department of Justice., providing an expert report and financial and market advisory services.

 

  • For Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, represented Williams Companies, Inc., a Fortune 500 public company, its Board of Directors and multiple big bulge investment banks by providing a solvency opinion and testimony in a multi-billion dollar class action suit brought by the Williams shareholders.

 

  • Representing a US Trustee retained by the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District Court of Texas and the Trustee’s legal counsel, providing multiple opinions and testimony in the Trustee’s litigation against the former owners of a privately-held bankrupt $1 billion annual revenue telecommunications company regarding complaints of self-dealing and fraudulent conveyance and providing two valuations and consulting advice to the law firm in this matter regarding insolvency issues.  (The matter settled.)

 

  • Working for Alston & Bird, represented a defendant public telecommunications company in a securities fraud matter, providing an expert study describing industry practices and economics for universal communication services.  (The matter settled.)

 

  • Assisted a Regional Bell Operating Company in a breach of contract suit brought by its largest reseller. For the same RBOC, completed an extensive study of the distribution strategies of its primary competitors, which included all of the Tier 1 telecommunications firms and several CLECs.  (The matter settled.)

 

  • Working for Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, assisted the former Southwestern Bell (now AT&T) with litigation support services regarding a breach of contract claim against the City of San Diego.  (The matter settled.)

 

  • For a developer of very high-end luxury residential resorts in The Baja, Mexico and in The Bahamas, provided the specifications for and developed an RFP, analyzed responses to the RFP from vendors and monitored the installation of high-tech triple-play fiber optic telecommunications networks in two remote international locations.

 

  • Provided an opinion and testimony regarding a breach of contract claim against Sprint regarding Sprint’s dial around service.  (The matter settled.)

 

  • For McKinsey & Company, conducted a comprehensive analysis of major IP telephony vendors based on the primary research of IP telephony applications and services applied by enterprises with upper-middle market customers, typically users of 1,000+ telephone stations. 

 

  • For Comcast, conducted a market study of competitors for business telecommunications solutions in specific markets, with particular focus on selected competitors’ pricing and strategies in those specific markets.

 

  • For Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, reviewed this international law firm’s pending telecommunications contract with AT&T.

 

  • For Telecom Management Systems, Inc., a southern California CLEC, provided an opinion and testimony in support of the confirmation of the debtor’s Fourth Amended Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization in the US Bankruptcy Court of the Central District of California, San Fernando Division.
